Countrieswith a mature democracy are characterized by a large implication of women in political, economical and social life. Statistics show that the number of women involved in politics who are presented in legislative and executive organs are direct proportional with the quality of life in that country. Scandinavian countries have a high rate presence of women in Parliament and Government, about 42% women in Parliament. By „Global gender gap report 2014” Scandinavian countries are in top five countries all over the world where women are involved largely in politics and economics. Republic of Moldova needs to implement a number of reforms, strategies and to adopt gender policies to follow the success path of Scandinavian countries and to achieve their level of welfare and democracy. |
