In this paper a rigorous research is carried out with the help of the finite element for obtaining the cap of an oil filter for a forklift by plastic deformation or deep drawing. For the analysis a 3D assembly was made punch - blank - die, which fully respects the geometry of the active elements as well as the blank. With the help of the simulation, it is possible to follow the deformation of the material from its initial form in the form of a blank, ending with the final shape, taking into account the variation of the play between the punch and the die. The simulation of cylindrical stamping is done using the ANSYS V15 software using the Explicit Dynamic module. An analysis is performed with the variation of the play between the punch and the die indicating the maximum normal stress and the critical areas resulting from the deep drawing. |
