Schimbările sociale și valorile tânărului din cadrul societății din care face parte sunt două elemente care se influențează și respectiv se modifică reciproc. Ultimele schimbări socio-politice în spațiul Moldovenesc care au destrămat în totalitate vechiul sistem social, cu siguranță au influențat și caracteristicele psihosociale ale tinerilor contemporani. Astfel, survine necesitatea de a analiza profilul psihosocial al tinerii generații contemporane din perspectiva mentalității, valorilor, așteptărilor, în contextul noilor cerințe create de societatea globală, bazată pe egalitate, gândire democratică și responsabilitate individuală. Cercetarea curentă va contura premizele teoretice prin analiza cercetărilor actuale în domeniu, din țară și peste hotarele ei, prin reliefarea caracteristicilor și așteptărilor specifice tineretului din Republica Moldova.

The social changes and values of the young people in the society they belong to, are two elements that influence and mutually change each other. The last sociopolitical changes that took place on the moldavan territory, had totally disintegrated the old social system, and certainly had influenced the psychosocial characteristics of the young contemporary. Thus, there is a need to analyze the psychosocial profile of young generations from the perspective of mentality, values, expectations, in the context of the new demands created by global society, based on equality, democratic thinking and individual responsibility. The current research will outline the theoretical premises by analyzing the current researches in the field, inside The Republic of Moldova as well and abroad, by enhancing the characteristics and expectations specific to moldovan youth.
