Education takes the path of transformation today. The culture is under strong interaction of local and global, of the part and the whole. Jacques Delors said: „Education has a difficult task to pass a culture accumulated for centuries, and a preparation for a largely unpredictable future.” In this context, transdisciplinary approach can have an important contribution to the establishment of a new type of cultural and artistic education. It’s the common purpose of us, ”people from the department”, to prepare young generation in crisis situations, at the same time keeping constatnly in mind that we have a past that has generated a huge legacy of cultures, which we have a moral and civic obligation to hand over. |
