This article plays the evolution of the representative body of the start of Moldovan statehood until contemporary parliamentarism. The material was based more on scientific works of Professor Ion Guceac and other scientists in the field. With the evolution of constitutionalism was developed and representative bodies based on those constitutional laws at that historical stage. Since stage interwar Bessarabia in the Russian Empire, Soviet socialist stage and the latest events of national liberation, the adoption of a democratic constitution and the election by the people, direct, secret and freely expressed a multi-party Parliament for a determined term. The current parliament of the nineteenth validated by the Constitutional Court on 24 December 2010, his term expires this year and probably next parliament will be elected by a mixed system.
