The author is conducting a research into the problem how to assure the human and citizen rights with the help of the notaries from the perspective of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as 65 years from it adoption (as it is known, the UDHR was adopted on December 10, 1948). As the UDHR is a fundamental and constitutional document for the Republic of Moldova (cited in Moldova’s Declaration of Independence (1991) and the Moldova’s Constitution (1994)) it is absolutely interested how our local notary is dealing the UDHR rights and freedoms transposing them into our legislation and protecting the fundamental human and citizen rights. As a result, we do hope that the deep understanding of the basic provisions of the UDHR by the Notaries of the Republic of Moldova will help them to improve the state of liberties and human rights of the citizens of Moldova. |
