Rezumat

It is well-known and scientifically proven, that a child raised and educated in a healthy environment, both phisiologically and emotionally, becomes a fully functional member of the society, without any fears, frustrations or complexes. The perpetual lack of time that some parents exhibit, weakens the relationship with their child. In this regard, the environment could be an important asset in the child's education and in establishing the much needed trust between generations. In this article, the author reveals the results of questioning the parents on the ammount of time spent with their child outside and about the activities that they usually do outdoors. Based on this results, there are a few concrete suggestions that have crystalized about the optimal use of the environment as an essential tool in the education of preschoolers.
