Rezumat

In the present work, the study is presented of (re)sovietization of Basarabia* through the optics of the Soviet “secret police” (NKGB), started in 1944. Following this logics, basically attesting a historiographical void with regards to the study of the role and activity of the NKGB in the sovietization process of Basarabia, we were focused on the analysis of the following aspects elucidating the first directives of the Soviet NKGB in Basarabia/Moldovan SSR in the mentioned period: the impact and generated trends of the NKGB’s first directives in Basarabia; the nature of the first directives of Soviet NKGB in Basarabia. In this context, the study and analysis of Soviet NKGB’s role played in the Basarabian space, starting from the spring-summer 1944, means actually the sine qua non condition in the disclosure and knowledge of hidden incentives of the (re)sovietization of Basarabia, the experiments and social engineering initiated by USSR in this territory. This study is mainly based on the unpublished documents from the Archive of Security and Intelligence Service of the Republic of Moldova (ASISRM) and from the Archive of National Council for the Study of Security Archives from Romania (ACNSAS), published documents and other historiographical sources.
