Military security respresents a criterion of the military policy implementation and characterizes the state of a country’s national interests realization in the military area, and a guarantee of its defence on the face of military dangers and external aggression. That is why the assurance of military security of the Republic of Moldova is impossible without the consolidation of global and regional stability, as well as without the maintaining of the defence capability on the level which allows to prevent the military conflicts and respond to any form of external aggression. The threats to the military security and national interests of the Republic of Moldova call for a high level of the defence capability of military organism, improving all its qualitative parameters. The place and role of the military organism in the structure of military organs and the national security of a country are under the permanent change, its importance increasing permanently, contributing to the problem’s transfer of the military organism modernization, within the framework of the military and national security system, from the departmental programs to the national ones, having the national importance. The society not only has a right, but has a duty to defend itself, to protect its own interests and proper security. That is why, the concentration of efforts of the country and society becomes extremely actual, in view to bring out the military organism on such a level, at which its capacity to efficiently defend the national interests of the Republic of Moldova becomes possible.
