Rezumat

Weight at slaughter age is an important index both in itself and by age at slaughter is made. Slaughter yield varies by race or hybrid, age, weight, type of feeding, treatment before slaughter, type of carcass. The research was performed to determine the slaughter yield of different breeds of rabbits. It was found that body weight before slaughter and after slaughter varied depending on breed, New Zealand breed body weight until the slaughter was - 4.09 kg after slaughter - 2.50 kg and 4.38 kg and respectively, Californian breed had  2.76 kg, so the secondary products were 1.56 and 1.62 kg.
