Rezumat

For knowing the combinative capacity of indigenous breeds with Charolaise and Limousine breeds, were organized an experiment of industrial crossbreeding between females from Romanian Black and White Spotted and Romanian Spotted breed with Charolaise and Limousine bulls. The experience was conducted in the private farms Şerbeşti-Bacău and Radomireşti, on a total number of 151 half-bred  (85 males and 66 females) divided into six batches, three batches in each farm. The obtained results justify the usefulness of industrial crossbreeding for improving meat production in cattle. Romanian Spotted half-breds, in particular with Charolaise and Limousine breeds reached an average daily gains of 1000 g/day and at age of 18 months the body weight was over 600 kg, fitted in morphological type of meat cattle. Also halfbreds L x BR and  Ch x BR were followed by half-breds L x BNR and Ch x BNR, through a upper body development, expressed through body mass and upper body measurements.
