Given the inevitabilîty of the impregnability of modifications generated by the evolution of time, all forms of liability existing atpresent hcive been influenced by time, and especially by the evolution of the society. The stagnation of any phenomenon would be totally abnorma!, if isolating it from all the things that are surrounding it or keeping aside the normal impact of those. Especially if it refers to important phenomena for the society, even vital, it is inadmissible to abstract the impact of time and evolution of the society on them. The social liability, as a part of this category of phenomena, cannot possibly be excepted. We will even try to highlight various types of liability in their historical evolution, as well as many other inherent elements, also in their evolutional aspect. We will try to do this because, for a better and scientifically grounded understanding of the social and legal liability, it is mandatory the tise of the historical method, that underlines its utility through the formation of the conţinuity of these phenomena.

Ponind de la inevitabilitatea impregnării de modificări generate de evoluţia timpului, toate formele de răspundere existente la momentul actual au fost influenţate în timp, mai accentuat fiind impactul exercitat asupra lor de evoluţia societăţii. Total nefirească ar fi stagnarea unui fenomen, izolându-l de toate cele ce se petrec în jur şi ferindu-l de firescul impact al acestora. Mai cu seamă dacă e vorba de fenomene importante pentru societate, chiar vitale s-ar putea spune, nu se poate abstractiza impactul timpului şi al evoluţiei societăţii asupra lor. Răspunderea socială, fiind parte a acestei categorii de fenomene, nu este nicidecum exceptată, ba chiar vom încerca să punem în lumină diversele forme de răspundere în evoluţia lor istorică, precum şi multe elemente inerente, tot în abordarea lor evolutivă. Vom încerca să facem acest lucru, întrucât, pentru o înţelegere bună şi fundamentată ştiinţific a răspunderii sociale sau juridice, este obligatorie utilizarea metodei istorice, care îşi evidenţiază utilitatea prin formarea continuităţii acestor fenomene.
