The article contains a brief analysis of the concept, particularities and value of e-government (electronic government) in terms of its impact on citizen participation in decision making in the context of globalization, making public and private sector similar to E.U. and global standards. The main emphasis is put on the role of e-government to change the relations between the state and citizens, between rulers and the ruled with the help of information technology. Purpose pursued is reached aims recognize the nature of e-government to be a tool, a method of government, with which, at the will of the government, may create favorable conditions for e-democracyon the massive process of globalization.
