Rezumat

A computer model of the electrohydrodynamic (EHD) flow on the basis of a complete system of equations in a symmetric wire–wire system of electrodes is presented in this work. Based on this model, three numerical experiments have been carried out for the cases of unipolar injection and symmetric and asymmetric bipolar injection. As a result of the comprehensive analysis of these numerical experiments, it has been found that the structure of the through EHD flow in the case of asymmetric bipolar injection is ideal for the realization of the liquid through pumping in a closed channel necessary for the operation of an EHD pump.
