Rezumat

On the basis of the dispersion equation for the nonaxisymmetric capillary waves at the surface of a strongly volumetrically charged cylindrical jet of an ideal incompressible dielectric liquid, it has been found that, for liquids with their dielectric permittivity changed in a wide range of values, there may occur electrostatic instability of the jet’s side surface.
