In the last decades, the Republic of Moldova actively participated in the migration processes, especially in work migration, which means nothing else but a process which consists in the movement of crowds of people from one territorial area to another one. This is a process that profoundly influences the present society. The social, economic and political evolutions that took place in the last decades continue at the global level and created the premises of significant modifications in the migration domain, by requiring special attention to these problems, more and more frequently approached in the framework of the political dialog and of international state collaboration. The migration policy is an important component part both for each world country, and for migrants. This is why, this article reveals the aspects of the migration policy of such world power, as European Union, and its impact on the migrants, on the Moldovan migrants, in particular.
