Rezumat

The staff of the economic agents is a main resource of the production processes that should not be neglected. Only through the contribution of the employees can the efficiency be achieved, respectively success in the hard confrontation in the market of products and services. Each employee is a specific grouping of skills and qualities, which can be found in the work results, in the individual professional performance. Purpose of the research: Establishing the concrete criteria for evaluating the individual performance; Quantifying individual performance; Establishing actions to increase individual performance. Material and method: As a working method was taken the quantification of the professional performance, which is a justified and necessary action, with both personal and direct implications related to the basic activity (production, administrative, research, design). Results: The results of the economic agent depend on the individual performance of the employees. Conclusions: Professional development is particularly important for employees, and the accumulation of new skills must be proven in practice.
