Following the proclaiming of the state independence of the Republic of Moldova, after the about 20-years break, academician Ion Bostan has decided to restart, in the frames of the Technical University of Moldova (TUM), the research in the field of the satellite technologies, but on another level. To this end, in 2009, the State Program entitled „Elaboration and manufacturing of Moldovan microsatellite” was launched. During the years 2009 – 2011 four distinct projects have been implemented concerning the research and development of the first satellite in the Republic of Moldova. |
