The author is pointing out the path that Moldovian horticulture walked during the history. He is insisting on the fact that although the horticulture of mid ‘80s was showing good results it was more a quantity oriented one rather than quality. The author is also stressing on the fact that the orchard owners and framers in general should change their optics of view. They should be more market oriented, insisting on the continuous improvement of the marketing mix strategies towards the customers bottomless needs. The authors emphasizes the role of marketing in arousing the customers and raising the demand. He concludes that only a pragmatic view over the horticulture could make out of it a blessing instead of a burden. |
