In arid conditions of Ukrainian Steppe during the growing seasons of 2011-2013 studies were carried out to learn the effect of influence of sowing terms and methods of crop care on biometric indicators, productivity and yields of sunflower. Optimal conditions for growth and development, at which the highest yield of sunflower Region hybrid – 2,49 t per ha were established, were formed at the second sowing term at soil temperature at the depth of seeding at 1012 °C with application of soil herbicide and pre-growing harrowing and two inter-row treatments. |
