This paper is dedicated to the study of English phraseological units. The purpose of the article is to identify those ones that denote negative emotions. The role of negative emotional state in the language system is determined. The methods of translation of English phraseological units denoting negative emotions into Russian and Gagauzian are presented. Such methods as phraseological analogies, phraseological equivalents, the calque and descriptive method are investigated. |
