This investigation contains an insight into the emergence of the concept of sustainable development. It elucidates the essence and role of sustainable rural development. Is made a review of the global indicators of sustainable development, as well as those adapted by the Republic of Moldova. In the same context, the indicators of enterprise-level development are also examined, the latter being the primary economic link in which the benchmarks of the given process are placed. |
