The paper presents a review of the research on the role o trace elements in the metabolism of one of the most important crop for Moldova - grape. Particular attention is paid to the contribution of Moldovan researces, especially Professor L. Kolesnik and his successors in the development of micronutrient application system in viticulture, in order to regulate plant nutrition and to achieve the fuller potential of resistance and plant productivity. It has been established that trace elements promote the activation of enzymatic processes, improve the photosynthetic activity of the leaves, increase the carbohydrate content, the amino acids in the plant organs. The efficacy of trace elements is enhanced by the use of its optimal doses and combinations of on the base of NPK. Improving the nutrition conditions of vine plants (seedlings, grafted cuttings, fruit shrubs) promotes the increase in the quality and quantity of graft cuttings, productivity, resistance to unfavorable conditions and viability of vine plantation. |
