A biochemical evaluation on esterase isozymes in mature seeds of 25 radish accessions (Raphanus sativus var. sativus) was carried out. According to the data of native electrophoresis, the izoenzyme esterases complex was represented by eight isoforms with molecular masses of 37.7 kD - 57.6 kD. All accessions were divided into 13 electrophoretic zymotypes, differing by the presence or absence of certain zones. The frequency of occurrence of each zone in different zimotypes varied from 6.58% to 17.11%. As a result, accessions were identified that can be used as the most promising forms for genetic and selection studies of radish. |
