In the area of the lips are absent sebaceous glands, therefore they are drier than the rest of the complexion. Lipstick should provide lip protection, moisturize and emphasize them, do not give the feeling of constraint, wrinkle homogeneously without forming agglomerations. Thus the purpose of this research is to check the conformity of the quality of decorative cosmetic products (lipsticks) in order to ensure the quality of lipsticks and consumer protection. In order to accomplish the proposed goal we have researched eight eyebrows, 4 Oriflame products and 4 Avon products and checked the information on the packaging, marking, checking organoleptic indices and physico-chemical determination of the presence of metals, phenolic substances, which are suspected to be toxic, as well as the presence of vitamins A and E. Among the eight organoleptically, physicochemically examined monkeys and the study of the information on the packaging, we determined that: none of these monstrates fully complies with the requirements indicated in the documents regulations. The closest to fit is the Luxe Shape Sensation range, marketed by Avon.
