Rezumat | ||||||
Successful interpersonal interactions are attributed to emotional intelligence. Emotion researchers examined the role of emotional skills in social dealings and interpersonal relationships. Impression management is the individual’s attempt to manipulate how others see him/her as if the individual is an actor on stage trying to convey a certain character to the spectators. This should improve our understanding of emotional intelligence’s role in creating positive changes in the individual, and consequently, in the organizational outcomes. The impression management skills mediates both of the relationship i.e. relationship of personal competencies and impression creation and relationship of social competencies and impression creation in the organizational environment. |
