Rezumat

One of the most important signs for selection includes drought tolerance and heat tolerance. It should be noted that the intensity of photosynthesis should be taken into account in conjunction with all other plant characteristics when creating new varieties. A negative (r= -0.46) correlation between photosynthesis intensity and transpiration rate, as well as between plant productivity and transpiration rate (r = +0.15) was determined. Genotypes with the lowest transpiration rate and a large difference in leaf surface and air temperature during flowering are characterized by the highest productivity.
