Israel is composed of a Jewish majority but has also an Arab minority. The members of the national-ethnic minorities in Israel are the Arabs, the Druze, the Bedouins and the Circassians. In this article we examine the integration and segregation of the Israeli educational system, at the same time emphasizing the integration of Arabs into bilingual schools such as the Yad Beyad Network, and the motives of two different ethnic groups to create a common education. |
