This paper discusses how Skype can be used to: empower ESL/EFL teachers and tutors to incorporate a simple and popular technology into their teaching practice; give presentations and workshops; and be a stepping stone to using more sophisticated technology in the adolescent classroom. This way, Skype can help EFL teachers improve their technology literacy and increase their confidence using technology in the classroom, providing an excellent stepping stone in using more sophisticated technologies. |
