The crisis in the global banking system that is taking place today, all the more insistently dictates the need to solve the problem in terms of minimizing risks and effective regulation of the financial and credit system. The article analyzes the content of international standards of banking Basel III. The prehistory of their appearance is being studied. The features of the application of these rules in the EU are considered. Possible changes are projected as a result of the implementation of Basel III in the financial system and economy. The process of introducing new standards in the Republic of Moldova is being studied. |
