Rezumat

Cross-cultural studies have increased in parallel to the improvements of international political, economical and social relations since the second half of twentieth century. As those who are interested in the topic have stated often all people are the same in several aspects, they are quite different in some other aspects though. The method that the researchers who study on cross-cultural studies most frequently is conducting intra-group and inter-group comparisons. Behaviours and cultural values of the people of the countries where organizations work result from environmental factors affecting those organizations. In this study, the importance of organizational culture and communication which affect actions of the employees profoundly have been examined. While doing so, many examples from the practices in Russia and Turkey have been given. It is understood that the culture of the society in which the organizations work is affective in development of organizational culture and communication even it may change in quantity. In the end of this study, it is concluded that a business need to make some structural changes analyzing the cultural structure of the society in order to succeed in another country.
