Art has always represented the mentalities and, at the same time, has served a cause. Art has an active role in transforming the reality. It has changed the human conscience through its two principal roles, which act upon the emotions: the cognitive and the educational. The fundamental principle of the art is the intension of relaying a concept from one person to another by using conventional means. The ultimate sense of human art is to be understood by others. The common spring of all the arts is the human concept, while the particular means of presentation, expressions and modes of relaying the concept are different for every art. Nowadays, the arts require not only visual artists, architects and designers, but also sociologists and psychologists. Interdisciplinarity is a particular characteristic of all the modern arts. |
