Today pedagogy requirements involve formation of competencies as finalities of the educational process. In case of foreign languages communication skills related to language in question are targeted. When we speak of communicative competences, we mean free mastering of a language. Most researchers consider that the phonetic side is of primary importance: after birth, the child appropriates first speech sounds based on which he can further form words and sentences. In this context, the article addresses the issues of pronunciation teaching in the context of language education in view of the current legislative and pedagogic requirements. |
