Rezumat

The Republic of Moldova is in a very favourable area for an advantageous development of a wide range of pests of cereal crops. In the grain crops from the Republic of Moldova are often spreading and causing damage many insect species including: Eurygaster integriceps, E. austriaca, E. maura, Aelia acuminata, A. rostrota, Dolycoris baccarum, Pentatoma rufipes, Mesocerus marginatus, Carpocoris fuscispinus, Palomena viridissima. More common are species from the genres Eurygaster and Aelia, which frequently attack wheat and grass seed crops. The wheat crops can also be attacked by other pests such as Grass aphids - Schizaphis graminum, Macrosiphun avenae, also by Macrosteles laevis, Haplothrips tritici, Anisoplia sp., Oulema melanopus, etc. In order to reduce the level of population development below the economical threshold above mentioned species pests in wheat crops we must to involve the use of a complex of agro-technical, biological and chemical methods – which represent integrated protection. In the same time, for a successful protection of grain crops by pests it is necessary to carry out a series of prophylactic and phytotherapeutic measures during of each growing season of the year.
