Статья посвящена исследованию правового регулирования охраны вод (водных объектов) в Украине, проведенному путем анализа юридической литературы и нормативных актов. Изучены меры охраны вод (водных объектов), рассмотрен правовой механизм регулирования охраны вод (водных объектов). Исходя из результатов обосновано, что экологическое, в частности водное, законодательство Украины в области охраны вод (водных объектов) требует усовершенствования, указаны направления его модернизации. Предложено внести изменения и дополнения в Водный кодекс Украины, а именно, закрепить принципы водного законодательства, что позволит урегулировать все основные вопросы правовой регламентации в сфере охраны вод (водных объектов).

The article is devoted to the study of the legal regulation of protection of waters (water objects) in Ukraine, which was carried out by analyzing the legal literature and regulatory legal acts. The analysis of measures for the protection of waters (water objects) was conducted; the legal mechanism for regulating the protection of waters (water bodies) was considered. Based on the results of the study, it is proved that the environmental, in particular, water legislation of Ukraine in the sphere of protection of waters (water objects) requires improvement and the directions for its modernization are indicated. It is proposed to amend and supplement the Water Code of Ukraine, in particular, to consolidate the principles of water legislation, which will allow to resolve all the main issues of legal regulation in the sphere of protection of waters (water bodies).
