Rezumat

The growth indices (the germination n and the mean length lmean) of barley, maize, and sunflowers wetted and saturated with a 1% solution of lead acetate and subjected to alternating electric currents in the low and ultralow frequency range are studied. It is demonstrated that the change of lmean depending on the frequency has a nonmonotonic character and reliably reduces for some frequencies. The ratio of the sprout lengths and the conductivity currents I is also studied. It is found out that I is essentially higher in the exper imental samples.
