Considered globalization as a factor of influence on the financial security of the state, it was found that in modern economic science there is no consensus about the sources of globalization and the optimal definition of this phenomenon, respectively, there are discussions about interpretations of lexemos globalization. It is proved that the process of globalization is connected with the transnationalization of financial markets and consists in the establishment of a single interconnected world. It is analyzed that globalization is advantageous, first of all, for the countries-leaders of the world economy, respectively, characterized by a dual influence on the level of financial security of the state, it, on the one hand, is a decisive factor in the intensification of foreign economic relations between the states, and, on the other hand, the reason for their economic dependence.
