| Rezumat | ||||||
Desertification is a serious environmental process occurring in many regions of the planet, and leading to adverse natural and socio-economic consequences. In the Rostov region there are arid landscapes subject to desertification processes, on which the state of soils and vegetation has been monitored for many years. In this article, the territories of the southeastern regions of the Rostov region that belong to the arid and subarid steppes are selected. To assess the state of landscapes, the NDVI calculation method was applied using ArcGIS and QGIS software. |
