The article describes the fate of Ivan Karaganchev, a native of Komrat, who was the representative of the far right pro-fascist organization called “the Legion of the Archangel Michael”. He joined this party in 1929, and already in August 1930 began to propagate the party's ideas in Komrat, for which he was arrested, but later released. On September 22, 1939 Ivan Karaganchev was shot together with his companion Konstantin Căldare near the Jewish cemetery in Komrat. |
