| Rezumat | ||||||
111 patients with respiratory failure caused by local – advanced larynx cancer in IIIA, IIIB and IV stade have been treated since 2001 till 2005. These patients received combined method of treatment: the fi rst step was to perform an urgent resection of the larynx on and than they were given 40 gr of postoperatory radiotherapy. In most cases a large superior larynx resection was performed on. There were neither severe complications nor cases of decease during the operations. |
