The article presents the analysis of the productivity and the biological characteristics of winter wheat different eco-geographical provenience varieties of the ecological testing at the „Selectia” Research Institute of Field Crops, located in the Balth steppe of the Republic of Moldova, during 2016–2018. Foreign varieties of wheat (especially European ones) in the unstable and contrasts meteorological conditions of Moldova demonstrates a priority only in favorable years with sufficient humidity, but in the unfavorable drought conditions, these varieties concede significantly to the native varieties with a higher adaptation, such as control variety Meleag. |
