Speech therapies should pursue the following objectives: fair articulation of words; improving both the verbal and the nonverbal as; understanding verbal and nonverbal communication, understanding the intentions of others in a given situation; initiating communication without help from others; knowledge of places and the right times to say something; conversational skills development; developing the exchange of ideas; development of communication as a way to improve relations; self-learning and using new Regulatory function of language. Communication abilities of individuals with autism varies considerably from one person to another is falling on a continuum, from lack verbal skills, even to those who use language in a functional speech. Some of these children do not ever get to develop spoken language and understanding may be limited. But others can develop their language much later than normal. Some children will have echolalia, repeating words that have meaning for them or repeating limited to what we say.
