The article presents current trends in the assessment of school results, and highlights, in this context, the orientation towards an authentic assessment; it describes concisely the requirements of an authentic assessment, compared with traditional assessment practices, and it advances the idea that the use of the principles and requirements of an authentic assessment in the education process would enhance the efficiency of the teaching activity and the acquiring and assessment of skills and competencies. |
