Rezumat

Professional motivation is a factor that determines the results of the work. Positively motivated civil servants take actions that directly contribute to both the organizational performance and the execution of activities that indirectly support organizational efficiency and climate, demonstrating pro-social behaviour. In their work, civil servants are guided by a set of values, reflected in public strategies and policies. Civil servants can contribute both to changing organizational values and practices and to community development. The motivation for work occurs when colleagues, leaders, and citizens appreciate the efforts made.
