Rezumat

Oxygen plays a key role in human life, but contradictory it produces reactive oxygen species (ROS) which are extremely toxic for the cells. Oxidative stress is caused by a disproportion in the cell redox state, either by excess of reactive oxygen species, or by dysfunction of the antioxidant systems. Oxidative stress has been detected in the case of neurodegenerative disease, and a lot of evidence from different studies, in vitro and in vivo as well, suggests that oxidative stress may play a key role in disease pathogenesis

Cuvinte-cheie
proteine, stres oxidativ, specii reactive de oxigen
