Rezumat

Desiccation-drainage arrangements were designed to be used on desiccation sectors; the periodical performance of certain complementary works was foreseen for the acceleration of the interception and removal of the excess water, namely: the leveling, modeling, deep loosening etc. This paper aims at assessing the excess water removal under the newly established conditions by the passage to the private property form on the land and to the use of the arranged surfaces mainly on individual land parcels. Individual land parcels are parallel, perpendicular or at an acute angle to the absorbing drain lines and/or to the channel network. The individual performance of the soil works determined a land modeling inconsistent with the absorbing drain lines and the desiccation network. Land modeling by ridges and their different orientation in relation to the drain lines and the channel network determine an uneven removal of the excess water on the arranged surface. The determination of the momentary water content of the soil on scale steps of 10 cm down to the depth of 80 cm, highlights that the best excess water removal is when ditches are positioned over the drain lines in land parcels oriented parallel to them. Because of the small probability of the formation of ditches over the absorbing drain lines as a consequence of the individual performance of soil works, it results that the best excess water removal is carried out on the land surfaces where the parcels are oriented perpendicular to the absorbing drains.
