The article gave results of the study productive qualities of cows In the article are presented results of the productive quality study of breed cows.  Baltata with Black sutype “North” moldavian from SRL „JLC AGRO MAIAC” farm. From the appreciated herd 93.6% achieved record elite and elite class. The average duration of exploitation of cows is 2.53 lactations and it is linked to the large number of primiparous to increase herd.  Milk production at the first  lactation 6019 kg in the second – 6843.6 kg. and on third over  7120,4 kg with average of fat content of 3.7%. Milk index varies on lactations between 11.5 and 12.2 kg. From the herd of 279 of cows 55.2% have elongate udder, 38.8% – have cup shaped-udder and only 6 % – have rounded shape udder. Body weight at the lactation – 523,8 kg, at the second  558.5 kg. and at the  third over – 603.2 kg. Duration of the period of service depend on milk production and varies on lactations between 102.0 and 132.3 days on average actually is 116.3 days.
