Quail growth in recent decades has become a business that has led to the diversification of agricultural products, particularly those classified in Category appetizer. The research was performed in a family-type holding a total of 50 adult female quail and 30 males from the two lines import meat. Weight of adult quail was studied averaged 345.65 g in the standard and 314.9 g in the yellow crosses above the values presented in the literature. Body weight of quail chicks increased with a maximum recorded age in the first week (48.78g) and third week of life (125.24 g). Weight and slaughter yield was different for adults and youth with values ranging from 80.16 to 81.11. |
