Rezumat

With high flexibility and efficiency of EDM and a large number of models of electric-spark (EI) units produced for a wide range of industrial problems many technically developed countries, in the literature there are no systematic data on the study of energy parameters of electric modes of these plants and pulses. Available information on the results of modern research is private, there is no single methodology for performing research.  A new method for determining the energy parameters of the process spark of metal surfaces (EDM) [1], including the identification of three groups of parameters: 1) characterize the electric mode on energy patterns; 2) parameters characterizing the single pulses; 3) characterize the energy efficiency of EDM.  Technique implemented research complex comprising shunt amplifier, analog-to-digital converter and the power supply to it, the computer, and the tested-install EDM. Recorded operating signals come from the discharge gap through the shunt and recorded automatically on your computer using the computer program «LGraf» at work on the selected mode, the electric installation. Determination of parameters characterizing the electric mode (the total number of pulses per time base, the sum of all energy pulses Marne, the average energy pulses, standard deviation) In progress using a computer program «Matlab», adapted to the test process of EDM. Determination of energy parameters is performed by treating the energy picture (Figure 1) for the entire range of pulses and for its characteristic zones: the lower, middle and upper. Similarly, the program «Matlab» get the picture of the actual distribution of the pulses by their duration. With the help of computer-related programs «LGraf», adapted to the investigated EDM process, determination of parameters characterizing the individual pulses. Using the results of the processing power of the pictures, you define the parameters that characterize the energy efficiency of the EDM. The technique is intended for use for research purposes, to create the new equipment, mining technology EDM critical parts, diagnosing processing of critical parts and equipment in continuous operation.
