Rezumat

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of dietary metabolizable energy (ME) and crude protein (CP) levels on the growth performances (body weight-BW, feed conversion ratio-FCR) and health status (heterophil:lymphocyte ratio-H:L) of broiler chickens reared in intensive system on deep litter a period of 42 days. The genetic material was represented by broiler chickens that belonged to the „Indian River Meat” hybrid, with three groups (LC-control group, L1 and L2 experimental groups). A total of 900 broiler chickens were randomly distributed into 30 pens (10 replicate pens/treatment; 30 birds/pen) and were given compound feed with different level of ME and CP. In the growth periods (starter, grower and finisher) have received compound feed ad libitum, with different ME and CP levels (LC-was conforming to recommendations of Aviagen Company; L1-higher with 10%; L2-lower with 10%). Broiler chickens and compound feed were weighed on each pen at: 1, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35 and 42 days, and was calculated FCR. Mortality was recorded daily. Thus, at the end growth period (42 days), were determined the H:L ratio. The BW at the L1 and L2 groups were significantly affected by the dietary treatment, while the FCR was decreased with increased the ME and CP from diet (P≤0.05), but the H:L ratio were not affected of ME and CP from diet.
